Talisma - Chromium (2005)

Click to listen Sample

Superb instrumental work by this canadian band. The bass playing of Donald Fleurent is simply incredible, sort of Kopecky, but a little bit funkier.

This guys don't just show their obvious technical approach to prog/fusion music, but they also have the rare ability of having a style that really makes them sound like a band with full musical integration and not just a bunch of "pasted solos"

Check the tracks Leviosa and Chromium just to get a couple of highlights of one of the undisputed best instrumental progrock records of the year.
