The Gardner brother have made a trademark of their sound snd style, so it's normal to expect more of the same prog/symphonic/epic/metal on Symphony for a Misanthrope and that's what happened.

A good album more in the vein of Test of Wills than 100 Year Flood full with social oriented lyrics and dynamic choruses.

We need to underline that the keyboard work has improved notably form Magellan's previous works so as a whole it will please modern prog metal fans.
